Benchmark Interiors was founded by Don LeSueur in 2006 in Gilbert after spending 25 years in the flooring industry with previous stops at The Carpet Company in Mesa with the Barney family (which later became Landmark Interiors) and his own venture, LeSueur Carpets in Mesa, and then back again at Landmark Interiors until their sale in 2005.

After establishing Benchmark as a leader in the East Valley flooring market, Don officially retired, and his son-in-law Wayne Syrek has taken over the business to keep the family flooring legacy alive! The foundation that Don built, taking care of customers, honesty & integrity along with competitive pricing, still lives today in everything that we do. It’s not just words on paper--- it’s in our DNA and it’s our daily guide.  

Today, the sales team at Benchmark led by Kevin Young, who was with Don at The Carpet Company & Landmark Interiors, has over 50 years of combined flooring experience to provide value & an excellent buying experience for our homeowners, business owners, remodelers & builders across the entire East Valley!
